Sales Agent, Travel Call Centre

Description

We are looking for Sales Agents who will provide excellent customer service to our clients for all travel-related inquiries such as planning trips and booking flights to exciting destinations

Key responsibilities in this role include:


  • Converse with client to determine destination, travel dates, financial considerations and accommodations required, and make recommendations based on budgetary restrictions and point redemption program
  •  Provide exceptional customer service and in-depth knowledge on all destinations and products offered by Merit Travel
  • Keep up to date with all systems and travel industry news
  •  Correctly verify clients as primary or secondary account users

Knowledge

Past customer service and sales experience is a must!

Able to work within our hours of operation is a must!

Excellent customer service skills, especially phone etiquette

Experience handling confidential information

Past working experience in a call centre or contact centre

Fluent in French/English is considered an asset

Travel experience or enrolled/graduated from a Travel program an asset

Travel systems knowledge (AMADEUS) an asset
